Free State Social Work is approved as a continuing education provider by the\u00a0Association of Social Work Boards Approved Continuing Education Program<\/strong>\u00a0(provider #1235) and the\u00a0National Board for Certified Counselors\u00a0<\/strong>(provider #6605).<\/p>\n

Does the New Hampshire Board accept continuing education courses taken from Free State Social Work?<\/h2>\n

Yes! \u00a0The New Hampshire Board accepts courses from ASWB-approved providers.<\/p>\n

How many hours can I earn with on-line CE courses?<\/h2>\n

Participation in home study courses shall be limited to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Up to a maximum of 30 CE hours for pastoral psychotherapists, licensed independent clinical social workers, school social workers, clinical mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists with at least 6 CE hours completed in ethics<\/a> and 3 CE hours completed in suicide prevention<\/a>;<\/li>\n
  2. Up to a maximum of 20 CE hours for licensed social workers with at least 3 CE hours in ethics<\/a> and 3 CE hours in suicide prevention<\/a>;<\/li>\n
  3. Up to a maximum of 7 CE hours for social work associates with at least 3 CE hours in ethics<\/a> and 3 CE hours in suicide prevention<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please remember that we have done our best to research your state’s\u00a0licensing guidelines. Licensing regulations can change frequently including guidelines about how many hours you can earn on-line. Most jurisdictions require a certain number of hours in ethics and other areas of practice. The final authority for approving any continuing education activity rests with your state board. Even those states that endorse the ACE program may have exceptions in terms of the courses that they will accept.
