{"id":169,"date":"2011-09-11T09:46:51","date_gmt":"2011-09-11T16:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.freestatesocialwork.com\/?page_id=169"},"modified":"2026-02-17T11:07:33","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T17:07:33","slug":"connecticut-social-work-ceus","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.freestatesocialwork.com\/?page_id=169","title":{"rendered":"Connecticut Social Work Continuing Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Welcome Connecticut Social Workers!<\/h2>\n<p>Free State Social Work is approved as a continuing education provider by the\u00a0<strong>Association of Social Work Boards Approved Continuing Education Program<\/strong>\u00a0(provider #1235) and the\u00a0<strong>National Board for Certified Counselors\u00a0<\/strong>(provider #6605).<\/p>\n<h2>Does the Connecticut Board accept courses from ASWB-approved continuing education providers?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes! \u00a0The Connecticut Department of Public Health accepts ASWB-approved providers for social work continuing education.<\/p>\n<h2>How many hours can I earn with on-line CE courses?<\/h2>\n<p>You can complete 10 hours with us. \u00a05 hours must be in-person or live. Licensing regulations can change frequently including guidelines about how many CEUs you can earn on-line. Most jurisdictions require a certain number of hours in ethics and other areas of practice. The final authority for approving any continuing education activity rests with your state board. Even those states that endorse the ACE program may have exceptions in terms of the courses that they will accept. It is ultimately your responsibility to understand the licensing regulations in your state.<\/p>\n<h2>Does Free State Social Work offer Connecticut Social Work CEUs? Trainings? Contact Hours?
