Substance Abuse and Intimate Partner Violence (1 Credit Hour)

Program Summary:  This course explores the complex relationship between substance abuse (SA) and intimate partner violence (IPV) and offers various theoretical explanations for the high co-occurrence of SA and IPV.  The course also includes a discussion of approaches to services and intervention programs for batterers.
