Parenting and Homelessness: A Provider Perspective and A Consumer Perspective (1 Credit Hour)

Program Summary: This course features two short articles.  In the first article, a nurse practitioner describes her work with children and families experiencing homelessness.  In the second article, a mother shares her experiences of shelter life and parenting.

This course is recommended for social workers, counselors, and therapists and is appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels of practice.
